Energy Infused Workout

Phew, we made through Monday.  In order to power through my workout without getting too hungry I had half of an apple, with Trader Joe’s version of Triscuits and Babybel Light cheese around 4:30pm.

I’ve been working out before work for about a month and a half now and, although I’m starting to get use to it, I’m still a bit groggy during my workouts.  Since I was completing a spinning class after work tonight I made sure to take full advantage of all the cooped up energy I had and really push myself.  It also helped that one of my favorite teachers was leading the class – she plays the best music and really walks everyone through the class.

Once I got home Josh and I made another easy dinner thanks to Trader Joe’s.

After dinner I quickly cleaned up our bowls and met up with my sister to get our Father’s Day present…and couldn’t resist stopping in at Red Mango.

It was the perfect amount of sweet.

The last stop of the night, besides my bed, was to head to my sister’s place to say hello to my two favorite pups!

Max is still working on smiling for the camera.  Brody, on the other hand, is quite a pro.  I will see Brody bright and early tomorrow for our running date.  We’ll be completing Week 3 Day 1 of 5K Runner since it FINALLY stopped raining!
