Favorite Childhood Foods

This morning I started my day off with an old favorite…a Blueberry Mango Smoothie.  This time around I made it with 1 cup water, 1 cup frozen blueberries, 3/4 cup frozen mango, 2 drops liquid stevia, a handful of ice and vanilla Shakeology.  It was delicious!

Lunch had to be quick because I was bombarded with work today.  So, I quickly threw together a ham and cheese wrap and had grapes as a side.

As my pre-workout snack I had a sliced apple.

And for dinner Josh made us delicious homemade chicken fingers and roasted broccoli.  I made us mashed cauliflower and together the three items were absolutely delicious!

Chicken fingers are just one of those foods that make me feel like a child again…and I love it!  And the best part is now I’m eating real food as opposed to processed fast foods or frozen meals.  Other childhood favorites (that are still my favorites today) would have to include mac n’ cheese, spaghetti and meatballs and sloppy joes :)

After being bombarded with work all day and 8+ hours of sitting I was very grateful to see X3 Yoga on the schedule for today.  It was so relaxing and my back was appreciative of all the twisting.
