Josh and I had an awesome weekend and although I don’t quite have the energy to do a full recap I still wanted to check in. How about we play a game of…. once sentence per picture (because one word is to hard) 😉 .
Our Friday night started with some appetizers to include chorizo empanadas and…
…fried spring rolls via (one of my favorite places) Crafted – The Art of Street Food.
Our only qualm with The Art of Street Food is that some of the food is ridiculously spicy, such as the Korean Meatballs which I order every time I go there because they’re just SO good… but I always regret it a little, too.
We wrapped up our night at the brewery next door (Preyer Brewing Co.) where Coopy was able to join us… and throw a hissy fit that we wouldn’t let him have a drink (in love with the My Talking Pet app).
Breakfast Saturday morning consisted of a skinny cafe vanilla frap (no whip) and a slice of peanut butter banana bread (we had a loaf at home via The Fresh Market).
Cooper was having a ruff (<– see what I did there 😉 ) morning from his crazy night of
socializing getting pet at the brewery Friday night… “momma, wake me up when it’s not so bright in here”
Later on, I snuck in a quick 10-15 minute workout (at home) before digging into a delicious tuna steak sandwich served with green beans (made by Josh, of course).
After lunch we got to serious work deep cleaning the house and rewarded ourselves afterwards with some heirloom tomatoes and mozzarella.
That night, dinner consisted of burgers served up with baked potato salad and roasted summer veggies.
Moving on to breakfast this morning… I had scrambled eggs, blueberries and some toast with jam.
I completely forgot to take a picture of lunch so we’ll jump ahead to late afternoon when I snacked on some of my favorite pimento cheese after subbing a yoga class.
Lastly, Josh made us grilled chicken salads for dinner and we had some garlic bread on the side.
